The Unattended Moment, a phenomenal musical piece constructed by Freddie Crossley & Femi Oriogun-Williams, had been performed sporadically previously with different collaborators, and The Imperfect Orchestra were delighted to be approached for two shows during Plymouth Fringe festival. They relished the opportunity to take a back seat role in a piece and respond specifically to the construction of someone else's ideas, alongside the live painting by Frances Staniforth of a mural which was back lit allowing the audience to experience the creation of the painting in real time.

"Diniwe and the Hadedas bring to you a performance of Don Paterson’s poem ‘Sunset, Visingsö’ like you’ve never heard before. Processed through formulae and machine, set free in imagination and music, five musicians attempt to play as many instruments as they can and a painter paints, together creating vision of hope in ecological crisis.

Here, in their latest album in collaboration with The Imperfect Orchestra, there is sense in nonsense, profound, ridiculous and beautiful."
